The Coalition, established 2014, is a non-partisan umbrella group that supports all of the City of Winnipeg’s 155+ residential neighbourhoods. We speak in a collaborative voice on behalf of residents’ groups. The Coalition secures funding and support to ensure City of Winnipeg policies and budgets reflect the interests of our members.
Our Members
Residents’ Associations are non-partisan community groups with an interest in their respective neighbourhoods. They elect representatives to serve the mandate through events, regular public meetings, and occasional collaborations with other citizen advocacy groups. They each contribute an equal voice in the Coalition’s decision-making and information-sharing.
Our Vision (Mandate)
Each neighbourhood should have the opportunity to have a vital and representative residents’ association. We work towards sensitive and sustainable neighbourhood planning as well as transparent civic administration.
